Dual-Mode (required reading)

Village buyer traffic (X-Payment-Proof) always runs with virtual side effects.

Live client traffic (X-PayPort-Client-Key + Idempotency-Key) may fire real adapters only when ENVIRONMENT=production and credentials are configured.

Only REFERENCE_PRODUCTION services need full Dual-Mode + live adapters. Placeholders and demos may stay Village-only.
